Hello Vibers, We are glad to invite you for Thrilling Trek to Gorakhgad on 6th September 2015.

Fort Gorakhgad is quite small in size. It was having strategic importance during the reign of Shahaji Raje. However, no major battle is recorded to have taken place here. It was used in Shivaji's era to patrol the nearby region and was used as a stopover station during the journey to Junnar via Naneghat. Though small in size, there is enough availability water and a lot of space for accommodation. The fort gets its name from Saint Gorakhnath, who performed his "Sadhana" in this place

Meeting Point : 7am @Kalyan Station on Sunday 6th September  2015

• 07.00 am : Move to Dehari
• 09.30 am : Tea and Breakfast
• 10:30 am : Start Trek.
• 01:30 am : Reach the Top .
• 02.00 pm : Explore ,lunch and rest.
• 03.30 pm : Descend.
• 05.00 pm : Base

Waterfall Rappelling Also technically known as canyoning and canyoneering  are more often associated with technical descents those that require rappels (abseils) and rope work, down-climbing. An adventure sport, where you walk down a cliff amidst the gushing waterfall

Vibes Outdoors invites you to the tour to 'KAAS Plateau' & Gaigantic waterfall ' Thoseghar' at Satara.

on 13th of Sptember 2015. 

Kaas flower plateau is Maharashtra’s valley of flowers. 

The plateau is located between 1200 – 1240 metres and is about 25 km from Satara town. 

    At the end of September month, the plateau and the surrounding hillsides come alive with millions of blooming wild flowers. The carpet changes colour every passing day through the monsoon.

Day 1 (12th September 2015)

07:30 Hrs --- Reach KAAS Plateau

Trek to Harishchandragad via Pachnai on 15th and 16th August 2015

Hello Vibers,
We are glad to invite you for trek to Harishchandragad via Pachnai on 15th and 16th August 2015.

Harishchandragad-The fort is quite ancient. Remnants of Microlithic man have been discovered here. The various Puranas (ancient scriptures) like Matsyapurana, Agnipurana and Skandapurana include many references about Harishchandragad. Its origin is said to have been in 6th century, during the rule of Kalchuri dynasty. The citadel was built during this era. The various caves probably have been carved out in the 11th century. In these caves are idols of Lord Vishnu. Though the cliffs are named Taramati and Rohidas, they are not related to Ayodhya. Great sage Changdev (one who created the epic “Tatvasaar”), used to meditate here in 14th century. The caves are from the same period. The various constructions on the fort and those existing the surrounding region point to the existence of diverse cultures here. The carvings on the temples of Nageshwar (in Khireshwar village), in the Harishchandreshwar  temple and in the cave of Kedareshwar indicate that the fort belongs to the medieval period, since it is related to Shaiva, Shakta or Naath. Later the fort was under the control of Moguls. The Marathas captured it in 1747.
